Why Rwanda

Rwanda is the land of a thousand hills

A safari in Rwanda is truly a breathtakingly beautiful holiday. The lush hills and valleys are covered with a patchwork of agricultural plantations, and its jungle-covered volcanoes are home to the largest and most accessible mountain gorilla populations. The country is one of the cleanest in Africa and in the world. Rwanda is also one of the safest countries in Africa and voted as the 9th safest city in the world.

The magnificent mountain gorillas are undoubtably the main attraction. However, take the time to explore the beautiful country and you’ll see there is so much more to see and experience while on safari in Rwanda.  Venture deeper into the country and you will find the tropical rainforests of Nyungwe in the south. Nyungwe Forest is home to a sizable Chimpanzee population, while the wide-open plains of Akagera National Park to the east are home to the Big 5. Lake Kivu offers some incredible birdlife and water-based adventures.

Kigali, the Capital City is a vibrant city full of vibrant colors, arts, textiles and much more. It’s a city worth spending sometime exploring and engaging with the locals.

Despite the country going through turmoil, the turn around has been incredible. The Rwandese are extremely proud of their country and the progress of the country.

Rwanda’s stunning scenery and warm, the friendly people, and incredible great apes offer unique experiences in one of the most remarkable countries in the world. Guests visiting Rwanda not only enjoy a holiday, but contribute to the conservation, preservation and progress of the country.
